b) If you don't have a website, a blog, or discussion forum:You can simply put the affiliate link in message forum signatures, email signatures, promoting to guild members or other in-game friends or new players.If the right customers click on the WoWMine.com banner or text ad, and subsequently place an order on WoWMine.com, you will be eligible to earn a commission on it. • How to get started?

To begin our partnership, please first sign up on our website. Signing up is easy and costs nothing. After your signing-up, you will receive a partner ID and an affiliate URL (Your unique online store "http://XX.WoWMine.com" (XX should be replaced with your partner ID) should be estabilished by then), which you can use to promote WoWMine.com.

Important Tips: Please use a "word" (it doesn't neccessary have a meaning) as your partner ID, but not those like "hot.com" or "hot.gold".

• How to promote my sales?

The objective as a partner is to make money, that's it; you want to drive as much traffic through your partner ID as you possibly can. There are basically two ways for you to promote it.

As for Webmaster:
You have the ability to target an already developed audience via newsletter, message forums or from our pre-generated banners.

As for other players:
You have the option to utilize your link (the affiliate URL) in message forum signatures, email signatures, promoting to guild members or other in-game friends or new players.The options are endless and the money is easy. You have no commitment to anything by signing up as a partner, the choices are yours as to how much money you want to make.

NOTE: WoWMine.com has a zero tolerance policy for SPAM. Any Affiliate accused of SPAMMING will be immediately removed from our affiliate program. The only recourse you will have to maintain your affiliate relationship is proof of 'opt in' that will undermine the validity of the Spam complaint. Valid SPAM complaints will result in an immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any commissions owed you. Any affiliate is not allowed to use either wowmine or the simular advertisment, the offender will be investigated by the legal liability.

• What are some strategies for maximizing my commission?

The most important thing to success of banner or text ads in generating commission for you is how well the ads match the content of your website. If you have a website that caters to people who mostly play World of Warcraft, for example, then your ads will generate a lot of commission because WoWMine.com offers World of Warcraft products and services. On the other hand, if your website caters mostly to Final Fantasy XI players, then your ads will likely generate only a small amount of commission.

• Where do I place the banner or text link on my website?

After you have determined that a WoWMine banner or text ad is a good fit for your website, choose an ad and placement that is prominent but not annoying. This requires a bit of artful arrangement on your part but most Affiliates find it effective to use either a horizontal banner across the top or a vertical banner along the right side. We suggest that you refrain from using pop-ups, pop-ins, floats and other similarly annoying methods for displaying ads on your website. If you are not satisfied with the example banners and text ads, you can go ahead with your creativity to make new banner and text for your own use.

• How do we fight for your interest to the most possible extend?

At the very beginning, your visitors come to our website through your affiliate links, but in the later days, they may not visit us through your affiliate URL again but comes directly to or through other source links to our website and to purchase, it's really injustice not to have this customer's purchases credited to your commission because actually it's you who first introduce this customer to us. To prevent this situation, we provide two mechanisms below to fight for your best interest.

Cookie:
Once your visitors come to our site via your personal URL, your partner ID will be saved on their computer as a cookie for up to 1 year. This means that if they come back and purchase later or signup as a partner many months from now you will still receive your commissions.

Realm/Faction/Character Name (RFC) and Account:
After the visitor's successful purchase on our website; we will note down his RFC and his/her contact email address. From that time on, any successful purchases with the trait of either the RFC or the contact email address will be recognized as your referrals and be paid commission on.NOTE: If a customer who has previously registered as our member or purchased from us before, his/her purchase that comes through your affiliate URL will not be credited to your commission.

• Jargon Explained: What do you mean of "EC, GC, BC"?

EC stands for Excellent Customer; while GC is Good Customer and BC, Bad Customer. What makes an Excellent Customer then? An Excellent Customer conducts responsible and regular purchases on our website, and as for Bad Customer, they issue a chargeback after they got their merchandise delivered, and for the rest of the customers, they are all defined as Good Customer. We have a system to study every customer's purchasing behavior (Customer Classification System, CCS). This classification helps in deciding the commission level on the incoming purchase. EC gets the highest level of commission rates (which could be more than 30% as highest), and BC gets the lowest level of course (yet it usually is higher than 10% of the sales amount).

TIPS: Every new customer will be Good Customer at the very beginning, and as time goes on, the CCS will automatically change the category of them according to the customers' purchasing behavior. And there are in all 4 forms of alternation of the category, they are as below: GC-->EC, EC-->GC; GC-->BC, EC-->BC.

Remember:once one becomes BC, this is irreversible.

• How do you calculate the commission?

At the moment a purchase is successfully accomplished, CCS (Customer Classification System) will assign a commission level you should earn on this purchase, and then a specific rate will be calculated and shown (you can see it in your Revenue tables) by our system.

On the settlement date, all orders that are paid in full will multiply with the corresponded commission rates, the results will be added together, and this is the Total Commission. From this total, the commission for all refunded and charged-back orders is deducted. Also deducted are total commissions that were already paid previously. The resulting amount is the total commission payable to you (For more details on the treatment of refunds or chargeback, please refer to subsequent sections of this FAQ).

Note that we DO NOT pay out the full amount payable on every settlement date but 50% of it (known as Settlement Amount), the rest will be kept as chargeback deposit.

After a certain period of your terminating affiliate account, we will pay you back the chargeback deposit. (See below for chargeback deposit)

• How do you pay the commission?

Minimum Payout Threshold:
You must accumulate at least $100.00 in Settlement Amount before receiving a payment; that is a Payable of $200.<

Payment:
You will receive the payment by PayPal or through wire transfer. If you don't know what PayPal is, please visit the PayPal site.

Important Tips:
If you do not provide a PayPal payment email address or Wire Transfer, your commission will be paid to you in the form of store credit, redeemable for products and services offered by WoWMine. It is up to you to make sure that all payment information, including name, address, and email address, are accurate and current. WoWMine will in no case undertake the task of tracking down miss-directed payments due to errors on your part. After a payment has been made using the information you have provided, you are considered to be in receipt of the payment.

• Restrictions

1) You may not earn commissions on your own purchases;
2) You must not conduct any spamming activities.Violation of these restrictions will result in immediate termination of your affiliate account with the forfeiture of any earned commissions.

• What is a chargeback? And what's chargeback deposit?

A chargeback happens when a customer files a dispute with PayPal or a credit card company and a decision was rendered in his/her favor. Chargeback Deposit is the amount which is redeemed for chargeback. It's currently 50% of the total commission. When this agreement terminates, the deposit will not be paid out to you immediately but after a certain period of two month starting at the termination date. WoWMine retains the rights to cut down (or increase) this deposit percentage and shorten (or extend) this period with written notice to you.
